Westwinds at the Resort! This one bedroom beachside condo is located in the most prestigious location at the Resort - Westwinds. You will enjoy gulf views and salty breezes from the balcony. All the amenities of Westwinds are yours - the tropical pool (seasonally heated), tiki bar with poolside food and beverages, kiddie pool, hot tub, fitness room, and dedicated beach access. Parking is a snap! You can catch the tram to the Baytowne Wharf which offers boutique shopping, restaurants, and entertainment. There is no need to leave the resort - it is all here!

With 715 square feet, this third floor beach front condo sleeps four guests. Perfect for a small family, a few friends or a couple looking for a few days in the sun. Our cheerful living area is spacious and newly furnished with a sleeper sofa and chaise lounge, an HDTV, and access to the balcony with new relaxing outdoor seating. Our fully stocked kitchen has been recently updated with new appliances and granite countertops.

The bedroom suite is designed with comfort in mind, and offers a king bed with a new mattress, a dresser, generous closet space, an HDTV and a comfy chair. The adjoining bathroom offers a double vanity and a bathtub/shower combination. For your convenience, there is a stackable washer/dryer, keyless front door entry, and wifi is complimentary.

We give this location 5 stars! For a relaxing vacation experience away from it all, spend a little time in our beach side condo at #4720 Westwinds, the Resort.

"We enjoyed our stay at the condo. Bed was very comfortable. Big bathroom with an amazing shower. Lots of storage. Very clean and great for 2 adults. Nice balcony. View of ocean is obscured by trees. Have sun in the morning and shade in the afternoon. Cannot see the sunset. They are working on remodeling the garage level. We could hear some construction noise but it didn’t start first thing in the morning. Bring beach towels and chairs. Managment was very helpful with booking and checking in.

"Before we even arrived at the Resort and through out our stay, the owner was in contact with us to make sure everything was clean when we arrived and that we had everything that we needed.
The property was clean and the kitchen had everything we needed for quick breakfasts and lunches. We had a beautiful view of the pool area and the beach and were conveniently located for a quick walk to the beach. Everything was just as the owner had advertised. We had a great trip and look forward to returning soon.

"The condo was clean and location great. The bed was comfortable and we enjoyed the view from the balcony. If there was any down side it would be this is a bathtub only condo. The shower head is there but not working. But we made the best of it. Communication with Beth was great. Ease of access and entry and location close enough to restaurants and other outings.

Beautiful Location and Property!

"The view from our condo was stunning! It was a small place, but fine for me and my husband. Unit was clean. The only negatives on the unit itself was the coffee table was too large for the space it was in - lots of bumped shins on that - and the beach chairs we found in the unit were rusted and basically unusable (that earned the unit a 3 star for quality of furniture). Bed was comfy and the shower was fantastic - like standing under a waterfall! The property, pool and grounds were really beautiful! Proximity to beach was perfect. Tram service was helpful, since we had a problem with our rental car for the first two days. Baytowne Wharf was fun! We loved eating at Slippery Lips - great food (the scallops and grits were amazing). Every person we dealt with in Sandestin was super friendly. Special shout out to Bette who was so helpful right from the time we booked through to the end of our stay, Carole at the pool for her help and Jonathan for his help, as well. The best people!

"Everything was great. Check-in/check out was efficient. The condo was clean and the space was perfect for my husband and I. The only negative comment I have is that one of the two beach chairs was broken and the folding chairs on the porch were rusted shut so not able to use.

Small and dated

"The condo was very small and dated. A coat of paint could go a long way. The bed is firm. The outdoor furniture is falling apart. The view from the balcony is not exactly what I would call a gulf view, unless you want to look through a very small triangle shaped opening. However, if you can’t see the gulf from the balcony at least you are not looking at a parking lot or building as the palm trees are nice. The covered parking is nice. The Westwinds building and facilities are beautiful. The pool and walk right to the beach are awesome.

"Unit was very clean. Bedding & bed nice & clean! Love the pool area & being on the beach. Property management is dependable & efficient. Love the no contact check in & entry codes were sent at the right time. We used Bette & didn’t have any issues at all. We had planned to play cards at the kitchen table but the up-light fixture was too dark. We bought light bulbs but there just isn’t enough lighting at the table. But with that said we’d still rent again with Bette.

"The room was very clean but very small and badly designed. Could hardly turn around in Kitchen and certainly not designed for cooking. Refrigerator took up most of the room because cabinets had not been modified to accommodate the larger refrigerator. The bathroom tub faucet did not allow adjusting the amount of flow of water and I almost broke my neck a couple of times because of the slippery tub and no safety bars. Please fix these things. I wish weather had been a little more cooperative. We did not make it to the beach. However, overall it was a nice stay.

"This vacation was phenomenal. The location of the property is right on the Gulf. The pool was great and access to the beach was easy. The property is well kept and conveniently accessed. The only noteworthy negative about the unit we stayed in is that the view of the Gulf is obstructed by palm trees by a total of about 90%. The picture depicting a clear view of the Gulf with two palm trees in the distance is misleading.

"Rented for a couple of days around Christmas/New Years. Great value and location. Bed was very comfortable and the unit had a good view of the Gulf and pool area. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a one bedroom rental in Westwinds.

"I was not happy with the cleaning. Floors had not been moped for months. I had to do that myself.Food on the front of the Cabinets, had to clean. Couch & chair dirty, needs replaced. Call me if you like!

"Hi Ashley,

We are back from our stay and it was very nice.

Couple of suggestions for you and/or the owners:

1. The instructions for wifi are not correct. The IT contact person should be calling you on this.

2. The instructions for access to the beach are incorrect. You do need to use 1206# to gain access.

3. The instructions for additional beach chairs says to contact Hilton Hotel. That is not correct.

4. Interior is really outdated, but also needs repairs and paint/patch in bathroom.

5. Magazines and pamphlets are really outdated. Jan, 2014? March, 2012?

6. Ocean side but really no ocean view. We knew this coming in, but probably would have chosen differently once we saw how limited the view was. Nice unit, but too low for us.

Otherwise, a nice stay. Thanks for setting this up for us.

"We picked what turned out to be a very rainy week in August for our stay. The staff was very professional and cooperative. I was somewhat disappointed in the view from our 3rd floor condo in that the beach view was obstructed by two palm trees that were growing directly off the balcony. Otherwise our stay was very pleasant.

Great place for two to stay

"The place was clean and had sufficient furniture for relaxing. The bed was comfortable and had 4 pillows to chose from.
The kitchen was equipped with enough utensils to work with. The only thing we bought for cooking was a set of tongs. The only complaint was the palm trees obscured any view from the balcony. We had an electric storm that knocked out the over the stove microwave. We called the condo service and had a new one put in the same day.

Yes, we would stay there again.
