Awesome beach views! This two-bedroom, two bath condo is located on the 14th floor at Beachside One in the the Resort. Take in a stunning panoramic gulf view from nearly every room! Beachside One offers it all ... access to sugar white beaches, a seasonally heated swimming pool and hot tub, a grassy lawn with BBQ grills, and an on-site fitness center. With amenities galore, a spacious and open floor plan, and private balcony access from the living area and master suite, this beachside condo has everything you need for a perfect vacation!

With comfortable furnishings (including a sleeper sofa), the living area is designed with relaxation in mind. The balcony invites you to sit and enjoy the sparkling water, waves and salty breezes. Our fully stocked kitchen features Corian countertops and everything needed to prepare meals and snacks. The dining table offers seating for four with additional breakfast bar seating for two.

The master bedroom is complete with a king bed, an HDTV, generous closet space, a window seat overlooking the amazing Gulf of Mexico, and a private entrance to the balcony. Steps away is the master bath with bathtub/shower combination and vanity area. The guest bedroom is comfortably furnished with a queen bed, an HDTV, and offers closet space. A nearby full guest bathroom is accessed via the hallway. For your convenience, there is a stackable washer and dryer in the condo, and WIFI is complimentary.

Hop on the golf cart or the tram and take a quick trip to the Village of Baytowne Wharf for restaurants, shopping, and entertainment. Our location is just minutes from everything - the beach, golfing, tennis, fishing, great food and shopping at nearby Market Shops, Grand Boulevard and Village of Baytowne Wharf. Beachside One is just minutes from the Resort's best eateries, galleries, boutiques, and nightlife. From ropes courses and playgrounds to live music and entertainment at the Village of Baytowne Wharf, there is fun to be had by guests of all ages. And with complimentary tram access, guests can experience all that the Resort has to offer - hassle-free!

NOTE: The following fees apply to this rental in addition to the nightly rental rate- $175 Cleaning, $195 processing fee, $9 per night transportation fee and tax 12%. By requesting a quote for this property, you agree to be added to our email subscription list.

CANCELLATION: Reservations that are cancelled more than 30 days prior to the arrival date receive a full refund.

"There were a few items that needed attention. The water temperature controls seemed to be reversed on the washer when it was set to hot you got cold and cold got hot, the dead bolt lock would not lock.
It would have been nice to have extra blankets after it the weather changed. I would have enjoyed the main TV on Cox cable

"This was our 2nd time staying here. it was better this time around than the 1st time. The condo was clean and had everything we needed. We love the location, right on the beach which isn't as crowded in front of Beachside One as it is other locations. It's a short drive to most shops and restaurants and the grocery store is a few minutes away in case you need it.

"The views were breathtaking and unit was clean and updated! It was very spacious and perfect! They had everything you needed in the kitchen and the bedrooms were nicely laid out. The toilet handle did break once but they were quick to come and fix it.
The only downside was the golf cart was very dated and only sat 4 but the unit is for 6 people so we ended up having to drive everywhere where a golf cart would have been so much more convenient.

"This is a wonderful unit located right by the beach. The views of the water from the living room, balcony, and one of the bedrooms are amazing! Secure access to all buildings and outdoor facilities. Well maintained condo and all other features were very good too (pool, hot tub, etc. We did not use the golf cart though). The property management team was very responsive and helpful - before and during the stay. Recommend this to anyone that wants a 2-BR, 2-BA beachfront unit.

"We had a great stay at this condo! Its beautiful and exactly as described. The view can't be beat. We have come to Sandestin many times and this was our first time having a golf cart, and it definitely will not be our last! We loved it. It's definitely older, but it gets around just fine! We will absolutely stay here again in the future!

(The only thing we noticed was that there was not one single towel hook in the entire place to hang towels or swimsuits! Kind of odd for a beach condo to not have any hooks to hang things, but still not a reason for us to not come back, just an oddity!)

"The condo was beautiful, and so was the view. My only negative comment was when I chose a place to stay, I have to keep my disabled son in mind that is in a wheelchair. The pictures showed that the master bed - there was plenty of space underneath for a hoyer lift, so I thought it would be good. But when we arrived, there was a step up into the condo that was not shown in pictures. This is not an issue to most, but it is for my son. He had to wait outside the condo in the hallway for about an hour while my son in law went to Lowes and purchased wood for a ramp. Please post picture of entrance. I wish VRBO and all other hotels were more handicap accessible aware of needs. Also, showers/tub were not accessible for spit baths for 3 days.

"Nice place for a couple or family to get away. We went in April when it was 60-65 most of the time and were able to have the doors open with the sound of the ocean all day long. the 14th floor gave us a great view of the beach. "The view is magnificent. The dining table is spacious. The master bedroom window seat is lovely.

The kitchen pots and pans need to be replaced.

The code to open the golf cart garage worked on Friday, but it did not work on Saturday, so we were unable to use the golf cart for our main activity. The golf cart availability was the deciding factor in selecting this rental unit, so the code failure was a problem for our group.

"Overall, it was a nice condo. The building and pool were cleaned and well-maintained, and the beach access was wonderful. However, the fact that the elevator inspection certificate expired on Aug. 1st did not inspire confidence. A "just-right" touch was needed to lock the door. In the master bath, the wall adjacent to the shower stall was rotting and the towel rack by the sink was no longer secured to the wall and was thus unusable. The bath towels smelled of cigarette smoke, and thus had to be rewashed. A conversation couldn't be had while the washer was running because the drum belt squeaked very loudly. The golf cart was decidedly subpar. Those were just the small things overall we loved the place. The view was outstanding!!

"The rental is in the best location the convenience of a golf cart to get to the village a Baytowne Beautiful views right on the beach, it could use a few upgrades but if you’re not worried about upgrades in a condo this is definitely the place to rent!!! I do have to say traffic gets a little bad more towards the afternoon and around lunchtime but again if that is not a big issue for you this is the place, especially if you go to the village a Baytowne to eat you can easily take the golf cart and miss all the traffic. We had no problems with entry the renters were very easily accessible if you needed them they were there. We would definitely rent this location again in the future.

"Our stay was fantastic. This was our stay in Destin in a long time usually go to gulf shores. We loved it. The condo was just perfect and the beach wonderful . We enjoyed the golf cart and and going to bay town was so nice. We were able to relax and enjoy this vacation. Plan on coming back. Phylis was a great help too and thanks to David Duncan for finding our condo

"Overall, the property was great for our stay, but has so much more potential. My family comes down to this area several times a year, and this wasn’t the best property we have stayed at in the Sandestin Beach and Golf Resort.
We loved that the unit was on the 14th floor and shared that floor with one other unit, which gave us a sense of privacy. The golf cart was a welcome addition in good working condition. The unit was stocked with everything you would need in a rental unit of this size and price. The Beachside I location is great because it is away from the hustle and bustle of Destin. The furnishings and carpet could use updating, but the beach location far outweighs those limitations. The instructions were detailed and clear and management company was very easy to work with before our arrival. And finally, the cleaning staff who came on site was very kind and courteous. Overall a great week!
However, we did experience some issues with the cleanliness of the unit...specifically with nut casings or other types of shells that were left on the couch when we arrived. We also noticed that the beds had indentations on the sheets as if someone was sitting or sleeping on the bed on top of the covers. Not 15 minutes after we arrived the cleaning staff knocked on the door to clean the unit stating that the owner did not tell them that there would be tenants for the week. A third issue the first night was that my son cut his foot on broken glass while sleeping in the second bed room. After a quick search, we found two pieces of a wine glass that were between 1-2” in diameter.
Yes, we could have called the property management number to resolve these issues, but the damage was done as first impressions are everything. All of these issues could have and should have been taken care of before our arrival. As stated earlier, this is a great property but the owner or management company should pay attention to detail.

I am so sorry you had those issues. I really do wish you had called me when they happened. Your vacation is important to us and I would have sent housekeeping immediately to make sure there were no hazards. The pictures in our VRBO ad are current. It is a really nice condo with the most amazing views and the owner keeps everything maintained and in working order. All of our units are walked and checked before each guests arrives. Our check in time is 4 pm. If our housekeepers came 15 minutes after your arrival you may have checked in before the designated time. Our arrival instructions clearly state that if you arrive early before we have inspected we will not be responsible for cleaning issues you find. We provide all of our guests with a 24/7 helpline for issues and we would have offered our assistance. We are truly sorry you were not happy.

"This was a great unit with beautiful views of the beach and a perfect location in Sandestin if you want easy access to the beach and a part of the beach that is less crowded. There is a wonderful walkway over the dunes that allows you to walk down stairs to the beach or go further to the end where there is a lovely sitting area to view the beach and sunsets. Having the golf cart was an added perk and much enjoyed. Unit was clean and in good condition. Would definitely recommend!

"We absolutely loved our condo at Beachside. It was the perfect size with everything we needed to have a great time.

Overall, the condition of the condo was first-rate.. The only thing that needs to be replaced is the carpet. I would like to see it replaced with tile or new carpet.

That aside, I would rent this condo again. It is one of only 2 condos on the floor and the direct ocean view is spectacular.
