You will be just steps away from the sparkling lagoon swimming pool, hot tub, bbq grills, picnic area, and fitness room! Spend warm summer evenings relaxing on the oversize balcony, and take in lush resort views. Our Pilot House condo is in the center of it all. You will enjoy the sugar white beach, entertainment at the Baytowne Wharf, and the most beautiful lagoon style swimming pool complex on the Resort. Resort guests can take advantage of amenities galore - beach fun, boating, tennis, golf, walking trails, a marina, fishing, and more.

Our stylish 2BR-2BA offers a king bed, a full living area with an HDTV, a fully stocked kitchen, and a full bathroom. For unexpected guests, the living area is furnished with a queen sleeper sofa. The guest suite has a full bathroom and queen bed and sleeper sofa. A nearby elevator makes this unit easily accessible to the pool amenities level. For your convenience, there is a stackable washer/dryer, and wifi is complimentary.

Walk right out the front door of the Pilot House and wander over to the Village at Baytowne Wharf which is a delight! Walk to world class restaurants, boutique shopping, and a variety of family-friendly activities such as a zip line, bungee-trampoline jumping, evening entertainment, a carousel, rock climbing wall, a kids playground area and remote controlled boats. There are often 'movies on the lawn', art displays, festivals, and special events held at Baytowne Wharf which is the heartbeat of the Resort. Fireworks are a weekly treat during summer time.

CANCELLATION: Reservations that are cancelled more than 30 days prior to the arrival date receive a full refund. Reservations cancelled 14-29 days prior to arrival receive a refund of 50% of the amount paid. Reservations cancelled within 14 days of arrival receive no refund unless the guest purchased travel insurance. Guests are required to complete a rental agreement by electronic signature within 3 days of booking.

A Little Disappointed

"I will start my review by saying that the responsiveness from Beach blue properties was exceptional.

The maintenance and repair of this unit was pretty bad. The dishwasher leaked, we couldn't use the second shower because the water pressure was too low. The coffee table at some point had broken and was repaired with a metal bracket, which looked very unsafe. The biggest disappointment honestly was the lack of kitchen amenities. We had purchased a lot of groceries, because we planned to cook. The food at Sandestin is very expensive, and not terribly good. When we arrived while there were several frying pans, there was only one small sauce pan. This rental slept eight people, and there were two coffee cups. The baseboards are yucky. They are missing paint, they are made of particleboard and starting to expand.

Overall, while the unit was in a great location, no money has been put into it in a long time, and several of the previous review comments have not been addressed.

"Our vacation was wonderful. The unit was very lovely. We did have issues with the assigned golf cart. Most of the safety issues were resolved after talking with management. Two issues remain 1) turn signals do not work and 2) the windscreen needs replacement. You cannot see out of the windscreen when it is up and when up, it keeps falling down. These are significant safety issues that need immediate attention.
The fan in the master bedroom squeals and is not useable.
The first two days we noticed 3 large bugs. We killed two of them. We installed roach traps, kept all the drains closed when not in use. No sightings after we used these precautions. After all, it is Florida and we are Floridians. Other guests may not appreciate it.

Beautiful condo

"We absolutely loved this condo. The location makes it so nice being able to walk out directly to the pool and Baytowne. The Golf cart was so much fun and nice to drive to beach/grocery store. Beds were comfy and felt right at home.
Only recommendation is I wish this condo was a little more stocked on beach chairs, beach towels, beach toys and supplies like this because it came with nothing, also a pack and play would be a nice touch to include that other rentals sometimes have.
Overall we had a great vacation and loved this place! We will be back hopefully!!

Great location!

"This unit was clean, comfortable, and a perfect location. We enjoyed the rocking chairs on the patio and the mattresses were quite nice. My only complaint is that the kitchen did not have a spatula. We cooked most of our meals while we were there, so the next time we book this location, I will remember to pack our own spatula. Also, many other guests did not adhere to the one parking spot rule. This was not the fault of this property, but could be better managed by the rental company.

"Our stay at the Pilot House was nothing short of amazing. The listing was spot on and the home had plenty of space for our family of 5. We utilized every inch of the condo as well as took full advantage of the pool. We especially loved the ability to see the pool from our patio. Allowed mom and dad some reading time while the kids played. Golf cart was an added bonus as well. Kept us from renting a car and made getting to and from the beach a breeze! Will definitely be returning!
