Our charming 2BR-2BA condo offers a fully equipped kitchen, a spacious living area, a furnished balcony and a “lock-off” studio, perfect for vacationing with friends or teens! The fully stocked kitchen makes meal prep a breeze and offers everything you need to whip up a snack or prepare a gourmet meal. The living area offers access to the furnished balcony and is thoughtfully designed with a cozy sectional sofa, designed to expand into a comfortable sleeping area.

The primary bedroom is furnished with a luxurious king bed and offers a beautifully updated full bathroom with dual vanities, an additional makeup vanity, and a walk-in shower. The spacious “lock-off” studio is complete with two cozy queen beds, a kitchenette, an adjoining bath, and a doorway that connects to the main condo.

"The property was clean and in a good location. The shuttle to the beach was comfortable running about every 15 minutes. Nice location to go for walks.

The only issue was the master BR toilet kept intermittently running.

Our winter retreat from the cold

"This was my wife and my first time to Sandestin. We stayed in 317 for about 3 weeks and loved it. The one bedroom apartment has been redone from the furniture to the bathroom. Several items to note was the abundance of rolling carts to bring your luggage into the apartment. Next management from Blue Elise was fabulous. The apartment is the perfect size for 2 people. The kitchen is fully equipped it even has a pod coffee maker along with a regular one. There are a few items though that should be improved but are not the fault of this particular unit. The towels that are used throughout most of the rentals are very corse so we went to Walmart and bought 3 towels that we now call our traveling towels. The pillows are very hard so we bought 2 feather pillows once again at Walmart we now call them our traveling pillows. The linens on the other hand were very nice. The water pressure was on the low side both in the sink and shower but the hot water was abundant. When we arrived the apartment was extremely clean. In other reviews the a/c is mentioned. We used heat in the winter and it worked perfectly. The operation of the two remote controls need to be explained in writing better but when we called for help within 5 minutes maintenance was at our door showing us how to work them. If you need high speed internet this is the ideal place. Extremely fast and uninterrupted. We do have one item that we hope before our next visit — we have already re-rented for next January and February is installed for our and future quests Safety. The shower need a handicap grab bar both for old timers like us and everyone else as well. Lastly many reviews speak of the underground parking garage and the numerous columns. These reviews are correct. The wharf parking garage was over engineered. As a retired Florida builder I have never seen a garage with these many columns. The spaces become tight for SUV ‘s but they are manageable and during the winter they were abundant. We are

"Unfortunately, we had a few hiccups on our first vacation to Pilot House.

Lets start first with the positives: The unit was as advertised, clean, great decor, roomy, and in close proximity to beach. Also the app provided a lot of helpful info regarding expectations and procedures. Plenty of beach chairs and kids pool/beach items left behind to use if you forgot your own. Pool area was nice, close and kept pretty clean entire stay. Also quite a few restaurants and activities within walking distance!

Now the negatives: unfortunately, when we arrived, we didnt immediately find Pilot house because we didnt realize the parking garage connected several different condos/buildings. Once we got back on track, we went to park and the garage is set up to where there is a pillar taking up anywhere from 6 inches to a foot of EVERY parking space. Anything more than a small compact car was difficult to park and maneuver there and we werent expecting that. And any parking outside was considerably farther away.

The second major issue is we arrived to find the unit did not have a working air conditioner. The room was set to 74 and we lowered the temp to 66 and upon returning from dinner our first night, the temp was up to 76. We contacted Beach Blue thru the app and they were prompt to respond, but thru some miscommunication, we didnt have anyone out to repair until late afternoon the next day. With us only staying a short time(5 nights), this was discouraging. And the result was the unit didnt work . The solution given was to open up the adjoining unit for us to use for sleeping purposes, but by doing so, our unit only ever got down to 73 degrees and this meant that all the living space, couch, dining room and kitchen were left feeling hot and humid. I wish another option was proposed or something different. On top of that, weather forced us indoors most of the trip, so it left us definitely wishing for a better experience. NIce place in Baytowne Wharf

"We had a nice stay. The positives... it was a great location and close to a lot of things. We could easily walk to get coffee and meals if we didn't want to leave the complex. We rented bicycles and easily rode to the beach and nearby areas. My negatives are probably more personal... first, the temperature in the place was usually around 74 even though we had it set for 70. The lowest I ever saw was 73. I have a hard time sleeping when it is that warm so that was pretty frustrating for me. Regarding sleeping, the bed is very firm. If you like a firm bed, then this will probably be perfect for you. I am a side sleeper so something with a bit more give would have been great. Again, this is not a complaint but something that I hope will help the next renter. Overall, it was a very nice place to stay.

Great Stay but please fix the AC!!

"We had a very pleasant stay here at the village. Location was great and room was clean and well kept. The AC does need to be looked at as it never got under 74 degrees no matter how low we turned the AC. Had to keep the blinds closed and thank goodness for the ceiling fans. I recommend this room but please make sure they have services the AC unit.. Will return soon.
