“Plane Retreat” is a most delightful 4BR lakefront cottage located in the picturesque neighborhood of Laurel Grove at the Resort. With sunny family areas, private niches, and charm galore, this is the perfect home for a relaxing vacation. Sit awhile on the back porch daybed overlooking the lake; or unwind on the southern style front porch. This charming residence will take you away from it all!

Laurel Grove is designed with families in mind. Located at the Resort, Laurel Grove is within a few minutes golf cart ride to the beach. There is a Clubhouse within short walking distance that features a tropical swimming pool, hot tub, fitness room, and outdoor grills. Catch and release fishing is permitted in the lakes and ponds at Laurel Grove. Miles of walking trails, golf courses, tennis, boating, restaurants, boutique shopping, movie theaters, and the sugar white beach are just a few amenities of the Resort. You will enjoy spinning all over the resort by golf cart and take a quick ride to the beach. “Plane Retreat” provides guests with two 6-Seat golf carts.

The first floor of our two story home features the main living and dining areas, a powder bath, and a large master bedroom suite with a king bed and a private master bath. The second floor offers an additional master suite with a king bed and a private bath. A third guest bedroom is furnished with king bed and provides access to a “closet bedroom” with a twin bed. A fourth guest bedroom is designed with two twin beds, and offers access to an additional “closet bedroom” with a twin bed. There is a hallway bathroom to service nearby guest bedrooms. All of the bedrooms and closet sleeping spaces are furnished with smart HDTV’s. For your convenience, there is a stackable washer and dryer, and wifi is complimentary. Only two cars may park at the home and street parking is not permitted by the HOA.

Relaxing and fun in the sun

"Easy check in and they were able to le us in early. Great to have two golf carts but one was dialed way back and didnt even get up to the speed limit at the resort which was scary when people were behind us. Very nice. Brds comfortable. Washer and dryer worked great. A few things we would have liked to be informed upfront like beach parking and one car parking at the house. Others had added an extra pad. Difficult with size. Overall we had a great time.

"Good location and lots of bedrooms. If you’re used to a VBRO, this is very different. The quality of the house is a “C”. Golf cart broke and the management team was not responsive. We got a $100 parking ticket because our tire was 2 inches on the mulch. But our family had a nice time.

"We had a wonderful time at this property! We have a large, multi-generational family, and everyone of all ages enjoyed our stay. The home was well maintained and clean, spacious, and comfortable. We saw wildlife daily and made great use of the golf carts by exploring the entire Sandestin Resort! Although we had slight issues with the air conditioning upstairs and one golf cart being serviced, Beach Blue took great care of us. We would highly recommend this property!

"We come to Destin every year for vacation and stay in Sandestin. We choose our properties based off what they have to offer in golf carts and size of the house. We utilize the golf carts everywhere we go. This year we stayed at 1379 Ravens Way W Beach Blue properties and the golf carts were junk. We had nothing but issues out of them and had to be serviced 3 different times. We were very disappointed in this property and would not be staying here again

Large family stay

"We stayed with two families with small children and a grandparent. It was perfect for us. Pictures do not do this home justice. The pond in the back is also lovely. The kids loved the outdoor spaces and the adults loved the outdoor couches. There are many little touches that make this home even nicer. The closet bedrooms can get a little stuffy, but they had extra fans. Each room had a ceiling fan. The plugs also had usb slots. There are some plug in nightlights, and lots of dimmer lights. There is a keurig AND a drip coffee maker, in spite of the check in instructions. Having two golf carts was imperative for us, and so useful. The pool is very nice and we enjoyed the hot tub. It is far enough from the home that it made more sense to golf cart to it, no big deal. We did have a couple of small hiccups with bugs and the golf cart, but management took care of everything quickly. The only thing that could make this home better would be included beach chairs and pool toys.

"Hello, I just want to leave a review to let the company and others know that our stay was top notch. The home was very clean, exactly how described, everything worked properly, etc. We had no issues what so ever. In fact, the golf cart had an issue but when I reached out to the company, they were very helpful, apologetic, and even offered to pay for our ride back to the room through Uber. Easiest rental company to go through. Thank you for a great stay and even better service.

"This was our second stay in the rental and it did not disappoint. The location is excellent as is the house setup. Perfect for our family of 7 with plenty of room to spare. While the 4th of July is a busy time the resort runs it beautifully. We certainly loved that everything we needed could be gotten to by golf cart. The fireworks at the wharf are amazing!!

"Overall the house is very nice, however, the outdoor furniture was so dirty we should not enjoy it. The carpets are very dirty upstairs and the hall bath does not drain properly. There were beetles in my daughters bed which required me to wash the bedding!

"We love this house. Very quiet location, plenty of room. So many wonderful memories here. Compared to other companies we love beach blue properties . Close to the neighborhood pool and hot tub, which is well kept. My only complaint is the fitness center is lacking. But nothing to do with the house. It’s further from the beach entry and the warf. But has two golf carts. It is closer to the shopping area by Publix. Which is nice.

"Three sets of adults and all had king beds - awesome! Air went out but was quickly taken care of. Two golf carts was a BIG plus!!! Great spot on a small lake. Is nicely appointed And in a quiet area, yet conveniently located close to neighborhood pool. Already thinking about trying to rent same home next time we get everyone together again!

"We had a good time but the cleaning service could be better. I had to wash my sheets because they had sand in them which let me know that they had not been changed from the previous rental they also had a small blood stain on them. Another bed also has blood stains. There could also be more info in the house to let new visitors know how to get around to different places. We knew in the description that we could drive the cars to the beach but it took us several days to figure out how to get there. We had to drive our cars to the beach. We were told we could park our 3rd car in front of the house but at check in the security said we had to find another place for that car to be parked but there were cars parked everywhere. There should be one rule for every guest

"This property was exceptional in every way. My wife and I were her with our adult children and grandchildren (total of 9 People) for Spring vacation. The house was very adequate, comfortable, clean, well equipped and the location in Laurel Glen was most convenient. We enjoyed the 2 golf carts which were included with the rental and the neighborhood pool that was comfortable and well heated for this time of year (March). For any family looking forward to an ideal property for vacation this truly is a “Sandestin Gem”!
