Our Rental Policies

 

Beach Blue Properties, LLC strives to provide a relaxing vacation experience, free of hassles and stress!  You will receive a rental agreement outlining our complete rental policy upon reservation.  

Reservations     Reservations may be booked up to one year in advance, however rates and properties are subject to change. A down payment of fifty (50) percent per reservation is required upon reservation. The advance payment is applied to the total cost of the rental, and is not a damage deposit.

Rental Paperwork    At the time of reservation, a confirmation is sent to the guest via email along with a rental agreement and golf cart agreement (if applicable).  You may sign the applicable paperwork via electronic signature online or fax-email it to our office.  In the event the signed paperwork is NOT received, your reservation will be cancelled, and our cancellation policy will apply.

Method of Payment     When making a reservation more than forty-five (45) in advance, your down payment may be paid by credit card (MasterCard, Visa, or Discover Card). The final payment is due forty-five (45) days prior to arrival. We accept personal checks made payable to Beach Blue, and mailed to our office. Our preferred method of payment is E-Check.  For reservations made less than forty-five (45) days prior to arrival, immediate payment in full is required by credit card (MasterCard, Visa, or Discover Card).

Reservation Fee     A reservation fee is included in the total rental cost and is non-refundable.

Taxes    A total of 11% tax is collected on rentals located in Okaloosa County and Walton County.

Vacation Rental Damage Plan     Instead of a refundable damage deposit, Beach Blue requires a damage insurance for a one-time minimum charge of $49.  The damage plan covers unintentional damages to the rental unit interior that may occur during your stay, provided they are disclosed to management prior to check out. The policy pays a maximum benefit of $1,500.  Any damages that exceed $1,500 will be charged to the credit card on file. If, during your stay, an Insured Person causes damage to real or personal property of the unit as a result of inadvertent acts or omissions, the Insurer will reimburse the Insured for the cost of repair or replacement of such property up to a maximum benefit of $1,500.  Certain terms and conditions apply, and coverage does not extend to golf cart damage.  Full details of the Vacation Rental Damage Plan benefits are contained in the Certificate of Insurance at www.vacationrentalinsurance.com/10sdi.   

Housekeeping Fee     A housekeeping fee is added to all reservations. The fee varies depending on the size of the property. Upon departure, please leave the property neat and orderly, put dishes in the dishwasher, and take out the trash.  

Cancellation     Please contact our office as soon as possible if you must cancel or change your reservation.  If you cancel your reservation more than 45 days prior to the arrival date, you will receive a refund of all monies paid less a $250 cancellation fee.  If you cancel your reservation within 45 days of the arrival date, you will lose all monies paid unless Traveler’s Insurance has been purchased (as outlined below).  YOU MUST SEND WRITTEN NOTICE OF CANCELLATION TO BEACH BLUE PROPERTIES, LLC BY FAX (601) 264-5147, OR BY REGULAR MAIL.

Trip Cancellation/Interruption Insurance (Travel Insurance)    BEACH BLUE PROPERTIES, LLC offers CSA Travel Cancellation/Interruption Insurance to every guest. Travel insurance is optional, but is strongly recommended. Please note the terms and conditions applied to pre-existing health conditions as outlined in the CSA insurance policy. No refunds will be given in the event of a mandatory evacuation if the guest does not purchase CSA insurance. For questions concerning the travel insurance, please call CSA directly at 800-554-9839. The insurance premium is 6.95% of the total rental cost.

Age Requirement     Beach Blue does not offer reservations to students or singles under the age of twenty-five.  Non-compliance with our age requirement will result in immediate eviction in accordance with Florida State Statute 509.141, and will be treated as a reservation cancellation.  Reservations made under false pretense are null and void and check-in will not be allowed.

Check In/Check Out 
 Check in time is 4:00 P.M. or later.  On rare occasions, due to housekeeping or maintenance issues, your vacation rental may not be ready until 5:00 P.M.  Check out time is promptly 10:00 A.M.

Smoking is not allowed in any of our properties.  You may smoke outside if necessary.  Evidence of smoking inside the property will result in a $200 fee.

Pets are not allowed without specific permission from Beach Blue.  Evidence of a pet inside the property will result in a $200 fee.

 

PRIVACY NOTICE

This privacy notice discloses the privacy practices for www.beachblueproperties.com.  This privacy notice applies solely to information collected by this web site.  It will notify you of the following: 

1.     What personally identifiable information is collected from you through the web site, how it is used and with whom it may be shared.

2.     What choices are available to you regarding the use of your data.   

3.     The security procedures in place to protect the misuse of your information.  

4.     How you can correct any inaccuracies in the information. 

Information Collection, Use, and Sharing

We are the sole owners of the information collected on this site. We only have access to/collect information that you voluntarily give us via email or other direct contact from you.  We will not sell or rent this information to anyone. 

We will use your information to respond to you, regarding the reason you contacted us.  We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfill your request, e.g. to ship an order.

Unless you ask us not to, we may contact you via email in the future to tell you about specials, new products or services, or changes to this privacy policy.

Your Access to and Control Over Information

You may opt out of any future contacts from us at any time.  You can do the following at any time by contacting us via the email address or phone number given on our website:

  • See what data we have about you, if any. 
  • Change/correct any data we have about you.
  • Have us delete any data we have about you. 
  • Express any concern you have about our use of your data.

Security

We take precautions to protect your information.  When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline.

Wherever we collect sensitive information (such as credit card data), that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way.  You can verify this by looking for a closed lock icon at the bottom of your web browser, or looking for "https" at the beginning of the address of the web page.

While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information.  The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.
